Terms of Service

1. Who can use Clutch Stats

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Clutch Stats is intended for coaches, club administrators, and other adults responsible for managing youth sports programs. Candidates and players themselves do not create accounts on the platform.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Notify us at support@clutchstats.app if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. We may suspend accounts that we reasonably believe are being misused.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform to send messages that are unsolicited, harassing, deceptive, or unrelated to a legitimate coaching or tryout activity.
• Upload or share content you don't have the right to share, or content that violates anyone's privacy.
• Attempt to access accounts, organizations, or data that don't belong to you.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the service.
• Use the platform in any way that violates applicable law, including laws governing the collection of information about minors.

4. Candidate and player data

Coaches using Clutch Stats enter information about candidates and players — including minors — into the platform. By entering that information, you confirm that:

• You have a legitimate coaching, evaluation, or organizational reason to collect it.
• You've obtained any consent required by law from the candidate or, where the candidate is a minor, from their parent or legal guardian.
• You'll only use the information for the purposes for which it was collected.

5. Your content, your data

You own the information you enter into Clutch Stats — rosters, evaluations, notes, team logos, and so on. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that information solely so we can provide the service to you and your organization. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

6. The platform itself

Clutch Stats (the software, design, and brand) is owned by us. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use it during the beta. We may release updates, change features, or pause access to portions of the service as we improve it.

7. Beta disclaimer

Clutch Stats is provided "as is" during the beta. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data won't be lost. Make your own backups of anything you can't afford to lose. We'll do our best to give notice before any planned downtime or breaking changes.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clutch Stats and its operators won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform during the beta. Our total liability to you for any direct damages won't exceed one hundred US dollars (USD $100).

9. Termination

You can stop using Clutch Stats at any time. To delete your account or your organization's data, email support@clutchstats.app — we'll confirm and process the request within a reasonable timeframe. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that pose a risk to other users.

10. Changes to these terms

We'll update this page if these terms change in any meaningful way and update the "Last updated" date at the top. For changes that materially affect your rights, we'll also notify active accounts by email.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Clutch Stats is operated. Disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts in that jurisdiction. [Specific state TBD before GA.]
